How to Pre-Register

FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS-

1. Check Your USCF Membership

You must have a current USCF membership to play in a tournament.  If your membership will expire before the tournament, please visit the USCF Web Store to renew online (credit or debit card). Or you may renew your USCF membership on the day of the tournament from Chris Bortzner of Brevard Chess. If you're not sure when your membership expires, you can check at the USCF Member Services Area. New this year- USCF memberships are available for purchase or renewal at the tournament.  If you purchase or renew a USCF membership from Brevard Chess Center (Chris Bortzner), a registered affiliate of USCF, you will pay a discounted amount of $14. Note- when you complete the pre-registration form enter "Will purchase USCF membership" in the entry box for the USCF number.

2. Pre- Register for the Tournament (you must pre-register)

Pre- Registration is usually available online about 2 weeks before the tournament date.  You must Pre-Register before 7:00 pm on the Friday before the tournament.  If you forget to pre-register or if you are a walk-in on the day of the tournament you will receive a ½ point bye for the first round and you will be paired for the second round.  Players that did not pre-register or are walk-ins will pay an extra $5 fee in addition to the tournament entry fee which is typically $15.  To pre-register click here.
